Maryland Senate Passes Death Penalty Repeal

The senate voted 27-20 on the bill. Senator Ron Young, (D), of Washington and Frederick Counties was the only western Maryland senator to vote for the repeal.
Western Maryland Senators George Edwards, Chris Shank, and David Brinkley are against repealing the death penalty.
