Long Time Washington County Educator Dies

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD- The Washington County community has lost a dear friend and educator. Donald K. Zilch died on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Carrol Hospice Dove House.
Before retiring, Zilch was a principal at Hancock and South Hagerstown High School.
Many who knew him say aside from being a fantastic administrator, he was also a great person.
His former students say they enjoyed talking to him while in school and then later as adults.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Boonsboro.
