FREDERICK, MD- Officials say the man who lives at this house on Cherokee Trail in Frederick is facing criminal charges.

They say Eric Myers exchanged Facebook messages with a woman, who says Myers agreed to pay her money for a photo shoot.

Officials say the woman tells them she agreed to model fully clothed. Now, police are reminding the public to be cautious of any agreements or meetings they plan online.

"Anytime you meet someone, whether you know them or not, you need to use caution. When you're going to enter into a business arrangement, whether modeling or other types of incidents, you know you have to outline what exactly it is that's going to be captured during that session," says Lt. Clark Pennington, of the Frederick Police Department.

Officials say the man wouldn't let the woman leave the house after he asked her to get undressed, inappropriately touched her, and exposed himself.

Neighbors say they aren't use to hearing about something like this in their community.

"It's a family type neighborhood, but its a quite neighborhood, the most noise we is probably when the air traffic comes through."

"This investigation has been going on a couple weeks. We didn't want to take too long because of the gravity of the situation, so we moved it along quite quickly, we wanted to consult with state's attorney's office and we pressed charges," says Pennington.

They say the victim is an adult, and she was not seriously hurt during the incident.

Officials say Myers is facing charges of assault, false imprisonment, sex offense, and indecent exposure.
