Police Surround House On Jonathan Street

HAGERSTOWN,MD - Hagerstown police are now investigating an incident that took place near Jonathan Street and Church Street.

It happened shortly after 4 p.m. when police were called to Jonathan Street for a woman being stabbed in the torso.

She was transported to the Meritus Medical Center for possible life threatening injuries. The man who barricaded himself in the house has been taken into custody.

Police say he was related to the woman and the case is still under investigation.
