FREDERICK, MD-  Frederick Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a car in connection to the armed robbery at Colonial Jewelers on February 5th.

Officials say they were able to confirm the vehicle's involvement in the incident after reviewing surveillance video from businesses in the area.

"Looking at the video, we were able to determine this vehicle was certainly involved," says Cpl. Thomas Tokarz.

They say the video showed the car traveling east from the scene. Police say the vehicle is a dark green or grey four door sedan.

Police say it appears to be a newer model of a Nissan or Infinity.

The first vehicle police spotted helped make an arrest of a suspect within 24 hours after the robbery occurred. Alonzo Meadows, of Va., was found in Washington D.C. and is being held without bail.
