After reviewing preliminary reports, the Commonweath Attorney's Office says 17-year-old Rhett Goldizen died after being shot by his father, Steve Goldizen in an October dispute.
It happened shortly after midnight on October 18th, when at least two men showed up at the Goldizen home on Monastery Road.
Police say the father opened the door with a gun in his hand. The father says one of the men was hiding with a shot gun.
After telling the men to leave, police say the father went back inside, saw his son Rhett coming around the corner, and he accidentally shot and killed him after being surprised.
Police say the two suspects have not been found. The father is not facing any charges at this time.
