Shepherdstown finalist in 2013 America's Coolest Small Town

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV - Shepherdstown is a finalist in the 2013 America's Coolest Small Town by Budget Travel.
There were more than 900 nominations and Shepherdstown made it to the top 15.
This isn't the first time Shepherdstown has received some recognition. Last year they were named Best Day Trip by Baltimore Magazine. Some residents we spoke to said they weren't surprised that Shepherdstown was a finalist. They say its uniqueness and atmosphere is the reason why they chose to raise their families there.
"Everybody in town and all of our friends all over the United States are excited about it," says Jan Hafer from Shepherdstown Visitors Center.
