Winchester Police Seized 480 Cartons of Untaxed Cigarettes

WINCHESTER, VA - Winchester police seized 480 cartons of untaxed cigarettes and over $5,000 cash during the arrest of a New York City man.
Police say Heng Peng Li was taken into custody Thursday night and charged with possessing untaxed cigarettes.
Officials say they received a tip from New York City police about suspicious activity.
After obtaining a search warrant, police found several cartons of cigarettes in Li's vehicle, and thousands of dollars in cash.
Some of the cigarettes were traced back to Frederick County.
Li is currently being help without bond.
