FREDERICK COUNTY, MD  - Maryland State Police shut down I-70 eastbound tonight as they tried to find a 911 caller who said she'd been abducted in a car.

The road was shut down at the Myersville exit at 9:30 p.m., just for a few minutes after dispatchers received a call from a woman who said she'd been taken from Georgia.

Dispatchers kept an open cell phone line with the woman until police were able to identify the car she was in, after they stopped traffic.

The woman turned out to be with her family, and dispatchers say she may have been disoriented. Police were able to resolve the issue.

Comments

Oh, there are idiots out there who would claim this crazy woman has every right in the world to have any type of, and as many guns as she wants.

I am guessing she should not have a gun in her future.
