HAGERSTOWN, MD - Most people will agree that they don't want to see the Hagerstown Suns go, including City Council members and Mayor David Gysberts.
Councilman Lewis Metzner says they're still communicating with the anonymous donor.
The donor promised to give $15 million to the proposed stadium project.
Metzner says the money still isn't here, but he believes the donor is still acting in good faith.
However, officials said the money was supposed to be in the City's hands by the end of November.
"I believe it's very, very important for us to find, us as the City Council, to find a way to keep baseball in Hagerstown, MD," says Don Munson, Hagerstown City Council. "We're never, ever going to have it again."
WHAG reached out to the Suns who still have not responded.

This smells like some sort of quid-pro-quo deal gone sour...(wouldn't it be interesting if the anonymous donor turns out to be Vince Groh...)
