Political science expert Mark Stern says it may force Republicans to reshape their core values as demographics change. While the Republican Party dominated among white voters, Stern says it's a shrinking base. And, he says more women who are professionals and single are leaning democratic.
"It's clear that republicans are having a great debate about exactly what they need to do or should do to make up for the problem of the Republican presidential nominee being unsuccessful," says Stern.
Stern says the President also dominated the youth vote again.
