HAGERSTOWN, MD - A woman is facing several charges including manslaughter in the death of her infant who drowned earlier this year.

According to online court records, Taria King has also been charged with reckless endangerment and neglect.

The drowning happened last March in a home on East Ridge Drive near Municipal Stadium.

Police say King was giving the 7-month old boy a bath.  She left the room for a moment, and when she came back, he was unconscious.

Police say she immediately called 9-1-1, but doctors were not able to revive him..
King's next court appearance is scheduled for December 4th.
