WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD - John Delaney was the only Congressional candidate to make an appearance in Western Maryland before the primary. He enjoyed a scoop of ice cream at the Maugansville Creamery with Comptroller Peter Franchot. Some of his other stops included a Weis store in Hagerstown and a train station in Frederick.

"We've been traveling around the whole district and we thought it was great to spend the day before the primary in here in Hagerstown, Washington County, and work ourselves around the western part of the district so we figured we'd stop and get some ice cream. Give us a little energy," says John Delaney, (D) Congressional candidate.
