Maryland's New Political Map Survives Challenge in Court

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against the congressional redistricting plan. The judge said the person who filed the challenge didn't prove that the new map violated the state's Constitution.
The map was approved by the General Assembly last year, but several groups argue it was drawn to make it easier for Democrats to get elected.
