Hagerstown, MD - Republican incumbent Mayor Bob Bruchey is running for re-election. He's served as mayor from 1997 to 2001, then was re-elected in 2006.
Brian Caron who works at Tristate Printing, is also running as a Republican. He says his experience in the community makes him a good candidate. He was one of the founders of the Hagerstown BMX Track.
David Gysberts works as a high school counselor. He's the only candidate running as a Democrat. Gysberts serves on the Washington county solid waste advisory committee and the Hagerstown planning commission.
