Local Florist Shops Experience Spike in Sales on Valentines Day

HAGERSTOWN, MD- On Valentine's Day, some people are receiving flowers from their loved one or secret admirer.
This day couldn't be possible without the local florists and delivery men and women who are working extra hours to make someone's day special.
For florists, Valentine's Day is a day of trimming and delivering flowers. Not just one, but truck-loads of flower-sets and bouquets throughout the day. The long hours can be tireless, however they explain nothing says Valentine's Day more than flowers.
"This is the busiest day of the year, it's always last minute, but it's the same every year," says Todd Gossert, of T.G. Designs.
T.G. Designs is making nearly 150 deliveries today.
