Congregation Celebrates Old and New Freedoms

The group honored marriage equality and the dream act.
"Our Minister says savor this victory and people turn out," say Tibby Middleton of Frederick.
Community members honored two of there own, who have been attending the church for more than 20 years.
"Tibby and I met in High School, we have been together 47 years," says Barbara Kenney of Frederick.
"We're always moving on to the next, we have all these social problems in the world and sometimes we have to stop and celebrate and recharge," say Dr. Carl Gregg, the Reverend at UUCF.
The group remembered freedoms old, and new
"I'm one of 8 openly gay members of the Maryland General Assembly, and my wife and I fought very hard for this legislation. I was a leading co-sponsor of this bill, and iIm here to share personal thanks for all that everyone in Frederick did to bring this victory to the table," says Heather Mizeur.
"We come from way back, we've seen a lot and had a lot of hard times... really hard times and to see this, its wonderful, shocking," says Middleton.
"Marriage Equality is a natural extension of Martin Luther King's Dream," says Dr. Gregg.
