CHAMBERSBURG, PA - A head-on crash in Chambersburg Friday afternoon took two lives.

It happened Philadelphia Avenue, just south of Tyler Drive.

Police say Dean Schroeder of Chambersburg was driving northbound when he crossed the roadway and struck another car head-on. It's not clear why he crossed the center line.

That car was driven by Samuel Naugle of Chambersburg. Schroeder was pronounced dead at the scene, and Naugle died at Chambersburg Hospital soon after.
