FREDERICK, MD - Getting funding for a charitable organization can be difficult especially when it's still new, but one business is helping with the costs.

The WLR Automotive Group based in Frederick is donating $25,000 to five charities in Maryland and York County, Pa. regions. People are able to nominate a community group now until December 14th and then vote on which charity to receive the money in January.

A non-profit organization, Seed of Life Nurseries, says if they are in the top five it would help expand their services to better help the community.

"We want to expand that (our teachings and services) in 2013 in order to help more people," says Michael Dickson, Seed of Life Nurseries.

"We started thinking about how we could do it and make it fair and give back so we decided to do online voting where we created a website and people could nominate their favorite group," says Cindy Burdette with marketing for the WLR Automotive Group.
