WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD - The Washington County Sheriff's Office has charged a Greencastle
man in connection with several separate incidents of metal theft.
Lynn Fishack was arrested on September 25, 2012 when deputies
caught him breaking into Maryland Metals located on Antietam Drive in Hagerstown.
$500 worth of scrap metal was recovered from Fishack's vehicle. Fishack was charged with Theft and Trespassing and released on personal recognizance.
The second incident occurred on October 1, 2012. Fishack is accused of stealing an air conditioning unit from a residence on Twin Springs Drive in Smithsburg.
According to a news release, on
November 21, 2012, Fishack was arrested on a warrant for an incident
which occurred on October 16, 2012.
Fishack is accused of stealing 293 bronze vases valued at $43,950. The vases were stolen from grave sites located in Rest Heaven Cemetery in Hagerstown. A groundskeeper of the cemetery reported the incident.
Fishack is charged with theft and was released on personal recognizance in reference to that incident.
