Volunteers came to the Hagerstown Rescue Mission to help out and serve Thanksgiving meals to those in need.
Many came out from the cold to enjoy the traditional turkey and stuffing. They say, for a day, they were able to forget about their problems. Volunteers say it's worth providing a helping hand.
"It means a lot to us, we have been doing this over the last seven to eight years," says Angie Cross, a volunteer at the Hagerstown Rescue Mission. "We enjoy coming here, helping out, and giving to others. It's more important to us than being at home."
Nearly 50 people volunteered at the mission.
