FREDERICK, MD - Crews responded to a structure fire Tuesday morning in Frederick, Maryland.

Officials say the blaze started in a filter just before 10 a.m. at Wright Manufacturing at the 1600 block of Wedgewood Boulevard.

About 30 firefighters got the fire under control in about 20 minutes. The company manufactures lawnmowers and officials say one of the filters had caught fire and spread to the ventilation system.

Fire officials say everyone in the building was evacuated safely and no one was hurt.

"One of the scrubbing units that scrubs air from the welders was on fire, and they actively had some fire in the building. Everyone was out of the building when they arrived," says John Hahn, Assistant Chief Junior Fire Co. #2.

Officials say the fire has been ruled accidental. The damage estimate is $100,000.
