Testing for chest pain includes EKG, treadmill stress test, nuclear stress test, echocardiogram and cardiac catheterization. The first test may provide the answer or may lead to a more invasive evaluation. The answers may find a coronary artery stenosis, valve dsyfunction or a heart rhythm problem
