Time for the Annual Fair in West Virginia

The 54th annual event is underway at the Jefferson County fairgrounds with lots of activities for kids and their parents. Many kids are enjoying the petting zoo while others are learning how to churn butter and cart wool inside a new educational exhibit.
Organizers are also expanding the fairgrounds to include 32 more acres of track. Theyre encouraging folks to come out to the construction area and watch the antique tractor pulls.
Of course, a West Virginia fair would not be complete without crowning new queen.
Bobi Jo Swartz, Miss Jefferson County Fair 2006, said that "Ive been at the fair for many years since I was a child and always looked up to the queens and hoped one day to be her and never thought this day would actually happen."
The fair wraps up Saturday."
