The victim said the alleged rape incident happened in a heavily secluded area on Lear Road just one mile north of Route 30.
Troopers arrested 31-year-old Michael Harrison of McConnellsburg on Sunday afternoon after a middle-aged woman contacted police saying Harrison raped her early Friday morning in the woods.
The victim told police she met Harrison at a bar in Licking Creek Township on Saturday night. The victim alleges she was raped after Harrison offered her a ride home.
The woman told police she accepted the ride because she had been drinking. Harrison was arrested at a home in the Waterfall area. He faces rape, assault, and theft charges.
