Congressman Ben Cardin Makes Another Visit to Hagerstown While on Campaign Trail

Congressman Ben Cardin made another campaign stop in Hagerstown on Thursday. He met with local leaders to discuss economic growth in the region. Cardin said hell strive to create more jobs by locally housing federal facilities and even extending the railway into Hagerstown. He also hopes to bring more federal funding for major projects into the region. "With the renewal of downtown area, federal funds can make that happen a lot sooner, so a senator can help a great deal. Im committed to people in Hagerstown and Western Maryland," said Congressman Ben Cardin, (D) MD. Andrew Duck, who is the democratic candidate looking to take Roscoe Bartletts seat was also at the luncheon. He and Congressman Cardin officially endorsed each other at the event.
