All of the contestants vying to be Miss Maryland gathered at the fast-food chain for some food, fun, and relaxation. 24 young women across the state are competing for the crown and 18 girls are participating in the Miss Teen Maryland competition.
The current Miss Maryland, Rachel Ellsworth, had the chance to mingle with the contestants and present a special token of appreciation to one of their biggest sponsors.
Susan Woda, who is on the Miss MD Pageant executive board, said "So the contestants come and they get to enjoy a little down time and get a little good food in the process. Its just a really nice opportunity to thank McDonalds and for McDonalds to have a good time with the contestants."
The contestants headed back to the Maryland Theatre after dinner for a final rehearsal.
The preliminary competition starts on Wednesday.
