Elderly Homeowner Held at Gunpoint in Own Home

Investigators said it happened on the 3900 block of Braveheart Circle around 1:30 Saturday afternoon. A 71-year-old homeowner opened the door and found two Asian men in their 30s pointing guns at him. Detectives said the men forced their way in, demanded money, and then hit a 62-year-old woman inside the house twice in the head with a gun. She was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital for treatment. Detectives are still investigating whether anything was stolen from the home.
