New DMV Set to Open in Jefferson County

With construction more than half-way complete, DMV officials said theyre expecting to open the new branch sometime in late August.
They said it will offer full services to motorists and will help with the overcrowding at the Martinsburg regional office.
"I think its going to help out everybody since not everybody has to come over here to Martinsburg. The people in Jefferson County will just have to go right there, close to their home, and this place wont be as packed," said Stephen Holmes, a resident.
As of right now, the branch in Jefferson County will be the last DMV built in West Virginia.
