Hair Cuttery Reduces Price of a Trim; Proceeds Go to Family of Officer Shot

His death has inspired a local business to reach out to his family. The Hair Cuttery on the Dual Highway is lowering their prices to anyone who wants a haircut and are giving all the proceeds to the family of Officer Jeffery Wroten. They are slashing their prices and hoping for a high turnout of community support. The normal price of a hair cut is $14, but on Sunday, the price for a shampoo and cut will only be $10. For one stylist, this event is more than a cut-a-thon, its something personal. "Having two kids of my own and knowing he left behind five kids and being that my husband is a correctional officer, its very near and dear knowing that these kids need financial support from here on out," said Melissa Partlow, Stylist. Officer Wroten left behind five children. The cut-a-thon is scheduled for Sunday, March 26th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Reported by Sharia Davis sdavis@nbc25.com" Flores Announces Hes Running for States Attorney,1143152007,1143152007,
