Washington County School Board Still Looking

Next Tuesday,
board members and officials will discuss the possibility of building on the
former Allegheny Energy headquarters site at
The School Board President, Justin Hartings, says he's interested to see how much it'll cost to build their offices on the site.
"We need to make a decision to either abandon the contract and say we're not going to buy the property, to say we need 30 more days if we're going to do this which is part of the contract or to just say on April 2nd we're going to buy the property and we're going to move forward."
The School Board says they'll be voting on whether or not they want the Allegheny Electric property during their April 2nd meeting.
They also approved to hire a
company to design the new elementary school at their meeting. From a pool of 13
companies Bushey Feight Morin Architects Inc. has been chosen to design
