FREDERICK COUNTY, MD - Maryland State State Police have identified the driver in the fatal tractor trailer accident Monday morning in Frederick County.

It happened just after 6 a.m. on southbound Route 75 at the intersection of Clemsonville Road in Johnsville.

Police say 58-year-old Terry Lee Myers, of Woodsboro, Md., was traveling south on Clemsonville Road when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road and overturned into a gutter.

Troopers from the Frederick Barrack, MSP Commerical Vehicle Enforcement Division, MSP Aviation Division and the Frederick County Fire Board assisted responding to the accident.

The roadway at the intersection of Route 75 and Clemsonville Road officially reopened around 2 p.m. Officials say the vehicle was off-loaded and removed from the scene.
