FREDERICK, MD- Frederick Police arrested a man on Tuesday after they say he attempted to break into someone's home.

It happened on July 16, 2012, in the 1600 block of Shookstown Road in Frederick.

Police say the homeowner was home at the time when Charles James Williams, 61, of Frederick, broke a rear window and tried to enter the house.

Williams fled the scene before officers could arrive.

Through the course of the investigation detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division were able to identify Williams.

Williams is charged with one count of fourth-degree burglary and one count of malicious destruction of property less than $500.
