Hagerstown Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Family Dollar Store

HAGERSTOWN, MD - In Hagerstown police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at a Family Dollar store.
It happened Saturday at 8:00 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Police say the man entered the store, demanding money from the cashier. 
He then showed a large kitchen knife to the cashier and got away with an unknown amount of money. 
The man is described as a black male wearing a light colored hoody. 
He is about 6-feet tall. 
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Hagerstown police department.
