Fire Officials Investigating House Fire in Oakland

OAKLAND, MD- The Maryland State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating after a fire broke out at a home in Oakland.
It happened around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning on 252 Maple Street Friendsville.
Fire officials say six people were displaced by the fire, but luckily no injuries were reported. The American Red Cross is assisting the residents.
Northern Garrett EMS assisted, along with Grantsville Vol. Fire Departments.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
