Weather Alerts: The National Weather Service has issued the following alerts for the WHAG Viewing Area:



Winter Storm Warning: Western Allegany & Garret [MD], Somerset [PA], Western Grant and Western Mineral [WV] from 7:00 AM to Midnight Tuesday.

Winter Weather Advisory:
Central & Eastern Allegany and Washington [MD],  Berkeley, Eastern Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, Eastern Mineral and Morgan [WV], Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren [VA] from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday at areas primarily about 1000 feet.

Flood Watch: Frederick [MD] and Loudoun [VA] from 3:00 PM Tuesday to Midnight Wednesday.

Tonight: Increasing cloudiness, becoming Mostly Cloudy skies after midnight.  Low: 25-30.

Tomorrow (Tuesday): Mostly cloudy skies with a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain changing over to rain for most of the area, except for Mountain Maryland, where the winter weather will hang on longer.  Up to a quarter inch of ice is expected in the Winter Storm Warning Area, and a light glazing of ice with freezing rain and sleet primarily above 1000 feet in the Winter Weather Advisory area. Most precipitation will change over to rain with heavy rain possible in our extreme Eastern Zones closer to Baltimore and Washington, D.C., 1-2" of rain is possible.  High: 36-41.
