$26 Million Mega Millions Ticket Sold in Mt. Airy

MT. AIRY, MD- A $26 million Mega Millions ticket was sold at a Mt. Airy Shell gas station and its owners are thrilled to be the lucky location.

Fate visited the Shell station on Lakeview Drive and left a $26 million Mega Millions ticket.

"I play quite often, usually only hit one number," says lottery player Ralph Harris. "So what I would do with $26 million at this point I don't know."

The ticket matched all six numbers including the Mega Ball.

The lottery will present the store a $26,000 commission check for selling the winning ticket.
It's the biggest of several wins in western Maryland since the beginning of the year. A Powerball ticket was sold in Boonsboro and and Multi Match jackpot came out of Middletown.

"More people will feel like this is the lucky station," says owner Moynul Mozumder. "They'll come to buy from us."

The winner has 182 days to claim the prize.

The winning numbers on that mega millions ticket are: 1-15 -19 -30- 56 -and Mega Ball 28.
