WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD - Police arrested a man they believe is responsible for numerous robberies in Hagerstown.

18-year-old Oscar Lopez of Hagerstown was arrested Wednesday night after police say he robbed Dolce Restaurant on Frederick Street.

Lopez used a stick to strike one of the employees and then took off with a tip jar.

Police used a K-9 to track Lopez down on Hayes Avenue.

Police say Lopez is also responsible for robbing the AC&T gas station on Frederick Street twice in January.

He also allegedly was the second person involved in the robbery at Side Pockets Bar that happened at the end of January.

Lopez has been charged with multiple counts of armed robbery and theft.
