Hagerstown Man Arrested In Armed Robbery

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD - A Hagerstown man is facing charges after police say he robbed another man at gunpoint Wednesday night.
It happened just before midnight in the 200-block of West Franklin Street in Hagerstown.
Police say James Childers asked the victim for a cigarette, then took out a gun and demanded that he empty his pockets.
Childers was located by police a short time later and arrested.
