TODAY: It's cloudy ahead of a low pressure developing in the south today. It's chilly with highs in the mid 30s.
TONIGHT: A light wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain arrives after midnight. A light glaze of ice and coating of sleet and snow is possible in the morning. Lows will be around 30.
FRIDAY: Early morning light freezing rain will quickly change over to rain with temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s. The nor'easter will rapidly develop to our north and bringing New York and Boston 1 to 2 feet of snow. By the evening and overnight, some snow is possible on the back side of the nor'easter with a coating to an inch expected. A few inches is expected in the Potomac Highlands and Western Allegany and Garrett Counties.
SATURDAY: It's partly cloudy, cold and gusty behind the nor'easter. High: Mid 30s. Wind chills will be in the 20s.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and a bit milder with highs in the mid 40s.
MONDAY: It's mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Temperatures may be cold enough to start in the morning for some freezing rain. Highs will be in the upper 40s to near 50 so any morning freezing rain changes over to rain by the afternoon.
TUESDAY: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 40s.
WEDNESDAY: It's mainly cloudy with a chance of showers. High: 40.
