TODAY: Overnight light snow brought anywhere from a coating to 3" across our region. Today will be cloudy and seasonably chilly with highs in the upper 30s. Some flurries or sprinkles are possible this afternoon.

TONIGHT:  Another fast moving clipper system moves in. It's cloudy with a few flurries. Lows will be in the upper 20s to low 30s. Light snow will fall in western Maryland and the Potomac Highlands. About 1" of snow is expected in Garrett County and Western Allegany, Grant and Mineral Counties.

WEDNESDAY: Weak high pressure moves in with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s to around 40.

THURSDAY: Sunshine giving way to afternoon clouds. Highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.

FRIDAY: A low pressure tracks to the south and east so expect mostly cloudy skies with a chance of rain and snow. It will be milder so expect snow changing over to some rain. We will keep tracking it for you over the next few days. High: 39.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and seasonable. High: Low 40s.

SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and mild. High: Mid to upper 40s.

MONDAY: It's mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. It's mild with a high of 50.
