FREDERICK, MD - Parents were able to ask questions and share concerns at a town hall meeting with the superintendent, Dr. Terry Alban.
The meeting took place inside Tuscarora High School's library. The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) says they wanted to create a space where parents can comfortably talk with Dr. Alban.
Some of the concerns parents expressed were snow days and delays, the school budget and possible school expansions in the future.
"As long as they don't ask about personal questions, we just want to give them the opportunity just to come in a casual atmosphere and chat with our superintendent," says Julie Marker, president of the PTA Council.
If you weren't able to make it to the meeting, you can still submit questions to Dr. Alban by e-mailing her at AskTerry@FCPS.org.
