WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY in effect until 3pm for Southern Pennsylvania.
WINTER STORM WARNING for Garrett County until 4pm.
TODAY: A warm front lifting through the region will bring an icy mix of snow and sleet, but it quickly changes over to freezing rain. Temperatures will rise above freezing by late morning and early afternoon changing everything over to rain. Expect a slick morning commute, but conditions will improve this afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 30s to the north to the low to mid 40s to the south and west.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a chance of a light shower. Lows in the upper 30s to near 40.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with an isolated shower possible. Much warmer with highs in the low to mid 50s. If the front gets stuck just to the south, it may end up being a bit cooler, but right now we are going with highs in the low to mid 50s.
WEDNESDAY: A cold front moves in by the afternoon bringing in rain and even a chance of some gusty thunderstorms. It will be very mild ahead of the front with highs near 60.
THURSDAY: Behind the front, it's windy and colder with a mix of clouds and sunshine. High: Upper 30s.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few snow showers possible. High: 32.
SATURDAY: A weak clipper system will approach from the west by the afternoon There is a chance of some light snow with highs in the mid 30s.
SUNDAY: A mix of clouds and sunshine. High: Mid 30s.
