CHAMBERSBURG, PA- From designs with hearts and stars, to checker boards; locals got a chance to see all kinds of quilts in Franklin County.

It's part of the quilt show at the Cumberland Valley Relief Center in Chambersburg.

More than 100 quilts are on display, allowing people to appreciate the artistry of the unique pieces.   The quilts will later be auctioned off at the PA Relief Sale in Harrisburg. Officials say the money raised will go towards the Mennonite Central Committee to help relief efforts around the world.

"We have several churches that support us," says Diane Brockman of Cumberland Valley Relief Center.  "A lot of ladies who help support causes of Mennonite Central Committee come in here and quilt or do the work at home, and we really appreciate all the work they give us."

The Quilt Show will be going on until January 26th. The auction will be at Harrisburg's Farm Show Complex during the first week of April.
