Martinsburg Police Continue Investigating Suspicious Deaths

MARTINSBURG, WV - The Martinsburg Police Department is asking for the public's help in gathering information on the suspicious deaths of a father and son in Berkeley County last January. 

On January 6, 2012 West Virginia State Police and Emergency Personnel responded to 436 Apple Harvest Drive located in the Glengary area of Berkeley County for the report of a trailer fire. 

Police say David Cole Hutzler, 56, and his son, 9-year old James Aquilla Hutzler were found dead inside the home. 

Police say the circumstances surrounding the deaths are suspicious in nature and the investigation is ongoing. 

West Virginia State Police is asking anyone with information about this inicident to please contact them at 304-267-0002 or email Senior Trooper C.S. Maynard at csmaynard@wvsp.state.wv.us.

Persons wishing to remain anonymous may also contact "Crime Stoppers," at 304-267-4999. Officials say an award may be offered through "Crime Stoppers," for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in the death of David and James Hutzler.
