$575,000 Winning Lotto Ticket Sold In Hagerstown

By: Ciara Brown
Updated: January 23, 2013
HAGERSTOWN, MD - It may be cold in Hagerstown, but one lucky lottery player is warming up to the idea that he or she is more than half a million dollars richer.

A winning ticket matched all six numbers from Monday night's Multi-Match drawing, making the ticket worth $575,000, according to the Maryland Lottery.

The ticket was sold at Roxy Liquors at 761 E. Wilson Blvd on Monday night.

The winning numbers were 1, 2, 13, 22, 37 and 43.

The retailer that sold the ticket will receive a bonus of $1,000 and the winner, which has not yet been identified, has 182 days to claim the prize, according to the Maryland Lottery.

Lottery officials say the jackpot has been rolling since it was hit on January 7 when a $700,000 jackpot was claimed by Ruth Carpenter, a Berlin resident on the Eastern Shore.
