TODAY: An Arctic boundary will move through late this afternoon and evening. Clouds will increase and there is a chance of an afternoon snow shower. Highs will be in the upper 30s to near 40 with a gusty westerly wind this afternoon. Western Maryland may see an inch of accumulation.

TONIGHT: Cold and blustery with lows in the mid to upper teens. Wind chills will be in the single digits to below zero at times. A snow shower is possible early. An additional 1-3" of snow is possible in Western Maryland.

TUESDAY: Brisk and bitter! High 22. This will introduce to some of the coldest air since a few years. Wind chills will range from 0 to 10 degrees during the day with a westerly wind at 15-25 mph.

WEDNESDAY: A mix of sun and clouds with highs only in the mid 20s.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy and cold with temperatures still below freezing. High: 27.

FRIDAY: Still cold and with a low pressure tracking through our region, we have the potential of a wintry mix of snow and or sleet. The track of the low will determine our precipitation type. Stay tuned as we go through the week and fine tune the forecast. Highs will be in the upper 20s.

SATURDAY: The storm departs and some sunshine returns. Still cold with a high of 27.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny with highs near 30.
