We first met Dan Hawthorne after losing 100 pounds in 2011 through eating right and exercising. Since then, Dan has kept with his healthier lifestyle.
He's continuing to work with his trainer while also inspiring others through his transformation. He speaks at schools and is in the plans of writing a book.
"Sometimes I don't believe it myself," says Hawthorne. "I have to step on the scales to make extra time like is this real?"
He says he has "cheat days" and believes in eating in moderation. His ultimate goal is to be 230 pounds.
"I was upper 40s to middle 40s," says Hawthorne. "I thought my life was over. I'm starting to live again. I'm reborn."
