The Maryland Municipal League opened up their trails for Geocaching Saturday. Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt and participants try to find caches in hidden containers using GPS.
This year's trail's theme is "Discovering Maryland" and it's to help promote the awareness of state's past through museums, parks, and main streets.
"Whether it's in the country or the city there are caches just about everywhere," says Dwight Wingert, a geocacher. "The purpose of the game is the experience as much as the find."
