HAGERSTOWN, MD - Most of the area has seen some sort of snow today, and it looks like after a White Christmas, our first areawide decent snow accumulation system is on the way.

The National Weather Service has issued a *Winter Storm Watch* for the following counties

In Maryland: Allegany, Frederick, Garrett and Washington

In West Virginia: Berkeley, Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Mineral, Jefferson and Morgan

In Virginia: Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, Warren

In Pennsylvania: Bedford, Franklin, Fulton, Somerset

From late Christmas Night (Tuesday) through Wednesday Night.  As an area of low pressure works towards the region, this system will have plenty of moisture to work with, and has the potential to leave significant ice and snow accumulations across the Four State Region.

Due to the Christmas Holiday, there will be no shows on WHAG News until 5:00 PM, so follow the WHAG Weather Team on our social media network sites for the latest updates, as this will impact travel the Day After Christmas.
